Team Immunity hosts Black Ops FFA tourney

Are you a dab hand with a ballistic knife and an assault rifle? You should check out the Call of Duty: Black Ops Free For All Championship.

You can headshot a guy from one side of Array to the other. With just a knife, your K/D ratio is incredible. You've been known to to play for 13 hours straight without dying OR urinating. You're the kind of player who should probably be thinking about going pro with your mad Black Ops skills.

So, you'll probably be interested in Team Immunity's Black Ops FFA Championships!

It's a one day competition that starts out FFA, and ends up with the two best players on the day battling it out 1v1. The event's on the 3rd of April in Melbourne, and the prizes are some sweet Intel tech.

If you're interested, check out the official site - and get practicing those kills!

I played against iM in FFa at the Antec anniversary at Star City.

If it is 4 player FFA with 2 iM players then what it is really is one of them baiting for the other to top and take the kills.

iM are the supreme farmers in BO, a FFA comp with an identical setup to the one I described is just plain stupid. They are pro gamers. They will camp and farm to protect their rep so it is not a display of individual skill at all, just them doing pre determined strats without coms on the two poor shmos who are dumb enough to think its FFA.

BTW they are very good players, not trying to take anything away from that aspect.

I really doubt that's what they're doing. Even if iM players are involved, I'm guessing it's a random draw so that that kind of thing wont happen.

Remember, the stuff they do at events like the Antec thing and even some of our events are for display, not a tournament.

Groups will contain a minimum of 10 players (Max 1 iM player per group) - players can also only remain in the same area for no longer than 10 seconds (Anti-Camping). All rules have just gone up on the Website. :)

Even tough Intel has some dark business conquests, they are great supporters in competitive gaming. First Starcraft now this. very nice.
