Want to give a hand to Japanese disaster relief, in true hardcore gamer style - the lads over at the Aussie IGN offices have you sorted.
We've all seen the nightly images on the news. Japan's been mightily screwed over by an earthquake, a tsunami, aftershocks, and even possible nuclear disaster. The Japanese economy was only jsut recovering from a nasty recession, too, so keeping on top of the financial strain is going to be super tough.
But we can help - and that's exactly what IGN's local outfit is doing, with its IGN Japanese Tsunami Relief Fundraiser.
The event is simple. IGN's team of crack gamers will play 24 Japanese video games for a solid 24 hours, and you can sponsor them. It's like a good old fashioned telethon, only packed with gaming goodness rather than Bert Newton.
It's a good idea for a great cause, and they've already raised over $5000. Sign up to help, and let's get them another $5000!
