Mass Effect 2: Arrival is looking... epic

Trailer: The trailer for Arrival, Mass Effect 2's last DLC release is here. Man, we need to play catch-up...

Man, we are so slack. Here's the launch trailer for Mass Effect 2's latest DLC - Arrival - and here's us, not having played ANY of the DLC released so far.

Yeah, yeah, we know. We desperately want to play it all; John Gillooly over at PCT&A (and yes, we know that's the wrong acronym, but ours is funnier) keeps insisting that we've not lived until we play the Shadow Broker episode. And with Mass Effect 3 coming out later this year, and Arrival so obviously leading straight into that (just watch the trailer), well... yeah.

We need to catch up soon.

But hey, since this is the last ME2 DLC, we can just say we were waiting all along for this, so we could play them all in one glorious hit of scifi RPG action. Yeah... that's our story and we're sticking to it.

That opening bit makes it sound like Sheppard has been captured by Jigsaw... Especially with the countdown clock.

If you are like me and want to take Mass Effect 3 really seriously you might want to go get a good saved game done for ME3.
I am thinking about playing ME1 and then ME2 how I want to prepare a ME3 save. The report I read is that ME3 will take over 1000variables form ME1 and 2. So now this final bit of DLC is out ME2 is complete and ready for a proper play though, and fuck it's fun to do anyway.

You might just want to ask what T&A stands for.

Though PC is unlikely to stand for politically correct.

Wow. It's short.

Spent maybe 2 hours at most to finish it. Still worth it if you compare it to seeing a movie or any other form of entertainment.

ME2 players are going to get it anyway, but this is not a massive addition to the game.

It is a bit disappointingly short at a few hours (otherwise known as a half Homefront worth of time), and definitely isn't up to the level of Lair of the Shadow Broker.

But then again for under ten bucks it was enjoyable enough. I can see flying solo getting annoying for some classes though.
