Operation Flashpoint: Red River - co-op trailer

Trailer: Get a peak at the multiplayer side of the upcoming Operation Flashpoint: Red River. Co-op for the win!

Let's face it - the last Operation Flashpoint game, Dragon Rising, was bit of a disappointment. Thankfully, Codemasters is aware of the game's flaws, and is pretty honest in addressing them. And Codies is promising that Red River - the next game in the series - will address pretty much all of them.

This new trailer goes a long way to doing just that. It shows off four players cooperatively completing a search and rescue operation, while fighting off PLA forces before reaching their extraction point and evacing via chopper (and yes, someone even says "Get to the chopper!").

You get to see a range of squad weaponry and roles, the new orders system, and get a hint of how the game's mission structure is going to flow.

Red River's out on all major platforms on April 26.

That looks cool, I typically will only get one FPS a year tho and right now that should be BF3. Perhaps I will get this if some friends get it for co-op.

Looks cool but doesn't seem to be anything special, anything groundbreaking you're not telling us?

There doesn't seem to be much recoil on the guns. God i miss Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis. Just remake that. -_-"

There's no one thing I can put my finger on, and I have only played on Xbox so far, but it was a great session of four player co-op. I think the big thing is it's just a much slicker game over all.
