Trailer: Finally we get a glimpse - and just a glimpse - of some vehicle combat in the upcoming Battlefield 3. Boo-yah.
Electronic Arts and its pal DICE are fast becoming the kings of the tease. They're managing a rather nice drip-feed to info at the moment about Battlefield 3, knowing full well that game journos like yours truly will leap on any new bit of info at the earliest op.
Take this new trailer, titled 'My Life'. At first it seems like it's riffing on that one Medal of Honor trailer that got Atomicans particularly riled up, the phonecall trailer. But before you can say 'Medal of Failure', we get some action.
Only it's mostly taken from the otherwise excellent Fault Lines trailers. So we got all sad again.
Then, finally, we got a teasing glimpse of some vehicle combat. It's blink and you'll miss it stuff, but when you see even just those few seconds of jet combat, you'll be all gooey with anticipation.
