New Witcher 2 info and vid

The Witcher 2 is only a month or so away from release, and developer CD Projekt's just a released a new vid and a game FAQ.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is looking not only like a solid RPG, but a damn pretty one too. We're keenly looking forward to its release, and so is European developer CD Projekt.

At the recent CD Projekt Spring Conference the company presented a keynote speech that featured the game heavily, along with some juicy new gameplay footage. The speech and demo was streamed live, but if you missed it, you can catch up with it on the official site here.

CD Projekt's also released a game FAQ, that clears up some questions surrounding DRM, game registration and hardware & performance. If you want to get the skinny, check the FAQ out here.

The Witcher 2 will be out on PC - and only PC - next month.

I thought Witcher2 was going to be DRM free with no copy protection? I remember reading a statement after the Ubisoft DRM fiasco about this. Why the about face on DRM and such now?

still after reading the faq it seems fairly minimal DRM
looks good though however after preinstalling DA2 and paying full price on steam only to see it drop in price like two weeks after i think i can wait(still running through the first game too though)
best thing though is its pc only and there havent been many games that can say that lately so looking forward to cranky up the detail and seeing my rig come to a crawl hah!

There is no DRM if you order through Good Old Games (gog.com), the developer's sister company.

Yep the GOG ordering would be the way to go no DRM http://www.gog.com/en/page/tw2v3 you can preorder for $5 off and a free game until the 16th of May. If you've never played the first game it is US $5 from may 10th - 24th on GOG. No I don't work for them just don't like DRM.
