The dust is settling on the Sony Playstation hack, but an apology and renewed service won't help at least 10 million customers...
Man - how do you come back from admitting that nearly 80 million customers have had their private details compromised in what is shaping up to be the biggest data breach of all time? If you're Sony's executive deputy president, Kaz Harai, you say sorry up front and deliver a number one bow.
The kind of bow that pretty much says, as only full Japanese courtesy can dictate, we messed up.
On top of that, Sony's also come up with a compensation package for affected customers - 30 days free access to the Qriocity music and service and the PlayStation Plus service. And for those 10 million customers that Sony's admitted have had their credit card details compromised, it'll offer credit card protection services.
But is that enough?
