Trailer: Ever felt there wasn't enough love, weddings and sparkling unicorns in your MMO gaming? You're gonna love Lucent Hearts!
Sometimes we post trailers because they look great. Other times, it's because, well, we need to make news happen somehow.
Then, there's Lucent Hearts, which could be the cutesiest, most bile-upchuck-inducing game we've seen this millennium. And, now that we've seen the trailer for it, we just have to share - a problem shared is, after all, a problem halved. Or something.
Lucent Hearts is a 'social MMO'. Think about that - the social version of a game genre that is, by definition, social. Huh? If it sounds kind of batty, that's just the tip pf the iceberg.
Like some special dating hell, this game uses your starsign to match you up with the 'perfect' playing partners. Your real starsign, that is, and whether you're a Scorpio or an Aries or... you get the picture. And where other games may focus on action and questing, with a bit of social RPG on the side, this looks to basically be the world's fanciest dating engine, with questing on the side.
Argh...
