COD: Black Ops Escalation comes to PC today

It's not just for Xbox anymore. Treyarch and Activision announce the arrival of the Escalation map pack (with bonus zombies) on PC.

Just after a month after the Xbox folks got their hands on Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation in all its zombie-soaked glory, Treyarch has announced that PC users will be able to access the DLC pack from today.

In case you missed all the hype the first time, Escalation contains four new multiplayer maps, including:

• Hotel, where players battle it out on the roof of a Cuban luxury hotel and casino against the vivid backdrop of old Havana
• Convoy, which delivers intense, close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambushed U.S. military convoy
• Zoo, which sets gamers on an eerie ride through an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo with danger at every turn
• Stockpile, which pits players in a remote Russian farm town, housing secret WMD facilities

There’s also Call of the Dead, which takes you to Siberia, and lets you get all undead and brain-hungry, and features voicework from some of the biggest names in horror, including George A. Remiro, Sarah Michelle Geller, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo.

Get your hands on Escalation through Steam for Windows PC, and, when you do so, enjoy a nice little experience boost with a Double-XP weekend kicking off today.
