It burned us once, and now it's come begging for forgiveness, armed with a couple of multiplayer maps and a fancy gun...
We’ve really tried not to go on and on about how disappointed we were in Homefront. Sure, it’s come up around these parts, but for the most part we’ve just been trying to forget how wrong we really were and move on.
That said, it would be irresponsible of us not to mention that the first lot of Homefront DLC has landed... in case you were interested. The ‘Fire Sale’ map pack includes two brand new multiplayer maps – named ‘Spillway’ and ‘Big Box’ – and is available from the Xbox 360 Marketplace for a suggested fee of 240 Microsoft Points.
Also available now is a free Premium Theme and an 870 Express Shotgun that will set you back 80MSP.
Don’t have Homefront and not sure you want to fork out the cash for it after us gaming journalists tore it apart in our reviews? Well, THQ also announced on Friday that a Homefront Multiplayer Demo was now available through the Xbox Marketplace for free for all Gold Xbox Live members. It’s only for a limited time though, so if you are curious, we’d recommend jumping on it soonish.
Ok, so maybe 'recommend' is a little strong...
