We don't have a date quite yet, but a little bird tells us that the first lot of DLC for the parkour-flavoured FPS is on its way...
We’ll admit it: we didn’t love Brink quite as much as we wanted to when it first came out. It seemed like such a good idea for a game, and yet just failed to blow us away. That said, there are plenty of people who disagreed with us, and those people might be interested in word from Camp Bethesda that the first DLC for the title is not very far off at all.
Agents of Change, which features two brand new environments, five new player abilities, two weapon attachments and two spanking new outfits, is currently awaiting approval from the various console masters, and then it will be hitting the street. It will also be free on PSN, Xbox Live and Steam, for the first two weeks.
Yes, we said free. So even if you weren’t 100% impressed by the game on release, you can check out the DLC for absolutely nothing and see if it might win you back.
And just on that, Bethesda also tell us that there’s currently an update available for the game on PC, which includes ‘online optimizations, AI enhancements and weapon balance tweaks based on player feedback’. The update will likely be available to console players at the same time as Agents of Change – so hopefully in early July.
