Trailer: Because you're worth it, we're bringing you not one, but two very shiny clips from Square Enix's big cyberpunk adventure.
It seems to be the season for gameplay trailers – we’re being bombarded with them left, right and centre here at Atomic HQ. For today’s viewing pleasure, we’re bringing you not one, but two trailers for one of the releases we are just hanging out for around here, Square Enix’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Our esteemed ed previewed it in the last issue of the magazine, and while he enjoyed it, I think there’s definitely a fear of being burned, Homefront-style, by the final product. As such, we’re trying not to get too excited, but these videos… are making that difficult.
The first one has been dubbed the conspiracy trailer, and focuses on the games main storyline, Sarif Industries and the various conspiracies they’ve gotten themselves tangled up in.
The second video is Part two of the beyond 2027 trailer series that Eidos launched last week. Cities gives us a better look at the stunning environment of the game, and also features interviews with the people who’ve made it happen.
Will this game live up to its hype? We’ll find out in six weeks time.
