It's just so... big! Craig Simms checks out the king of Samsung's hybrid monitors.

On Wednesday we took shipment of the Samsung 460PN. That's a 46" monitor, for all those not in the know, with more inputs than you can shake an anorexic log at. That includes DVI - which of course meant we had to hook it into a PC. Immediately.

Wow. That's pretty much it. As you can see from the picture to the right, it dwarfs everything, and we love it. To give you an idea of scale, to its right sits a 19" BenQ monitor. Below, a Maxtor hard drive.

Although it only does a res of 1366x768, this gives you a chance to crank all your details to high, and since you'll be gaming from the lounge anyway you'll barely notice. Far Cry is simply delicious, as is HDTV, even if it can only manage 720P.

If you've got a spare $10,000 lying around, then having this as a dedicated gaming screen would keep you as king of the hill for a very, very long time.
