Trailer: According to the Purity First trailer, augmentation is a case of two legs good; bionic legs bad
Are your augmentations killing you? According to the new Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer, yes – yes they are.
The new video shows the flipside of the excellent Sarif Industries “TV spot” from April, this time letting the anti-augmentation group Purity First have their say. It’s a great look at the complex political machinations that you (or you as Adam Jensen) will be dealing with when the game launches on 25 August.
Sometimes when trailers look this good, you feel like you’re just setting yourself up to be disappointed – as if there’s just no chance that any level of gameplay can match the expectations that the teasers bring. Having played through the first six hours of the new Deux Ex, I can safely say that I’m still very excited about this title and I’m pretty confident that the full game will not be disappointing in any way, shape or form.
Of course, what do I know? I’m just some guy helping fill in while Hawkeye is away on holidays. Check the video yourself:
