Gallery: Check out the dark sci-fi cityscapes of Human Head Studios' Prey 2, and enjoy some bounty-hunting bad-assness.
We walked out of the Prey 2 demo at E3 asking ourselves why this awesome-looking game had been so far off our radar. The simple answer, though, is that the first really never got our juices flowing, so we kinda assumed the same of Prey 2.
Big giant HUGE mistake.
Prey 2 introduces a new character in the series, strands him on the other side of our alien-infested galaxy, and then turns him into a bounty-hunter. And that's the game, and it looks absolutely awesome.
Level design as complex and grim (yet neon-lit) as Blade Runner; very vertical movement including the best-yet use of first person free-running; a mess of bounty-hunting tools and vision modes; and open world to explore and shoot; big guns to do it with.
We're now keenly awaiting the game's release next March, and for now we can only drool over these screens.
