Trailer: You can always rely on Suda-51 for your daily dose of WTF, and Chainsaw Lollipop delivers the WTF in spades.
No More Heroes and the recent Shadows of the Damned are classic suda-51 games. They are loud, brash, and more than a little hyperviolent. They also tend to leave the player wondering if they've accidentally injested LSD any time recently. His latest project - Chainsaw Lollipop - looks tame by comparison.
But only by comparison.
It's a not-at-all-Buffy-like zombie-killing fest starring Juliet, a chainsaw-wielding, candy-sucking cheerleader. Yeah... however, it's also from the pen of genre-fave writer-directer James Gunn. He's best known for his Troma films, but we're also giant fans of Slither, his Nathan Fillion slugs-from-outer-space horror comedy.
In other words, it's a wierd pairing, and we're kinda scared. We're also not sure how this game will get past our game censorship regime if we don't get an R18 rating.
