Shoot Many Robots - as much a mission statement as a game

Shoot Many Robots - as much a mission statement as a game

Trailer: We're not averse to some big, dumb fun, and Shoot Many Robots looks to be those things in spades.

If you combined the look of Team Fortress 2, the kinda look and feel of Borderlands, and classic side-scrolling fun, you might end up with the new game from Ubisoft (do we boo when we mention Ubisoft, now?) and Demiurge Studios, Shoot All Robots.

The trailer sure looks amusing, and lord knows we're not averse to a bit of side-scrolling shenanigans. Sure, it's not really pushing the 'maximum' part of our mission statement, but as far as we're concerned that could just as easily count as 'maximum frags'. Job done.

As the game is coming on all major platforms in 2012, it'll be interesting to see how recent DRM issues will impact PC gamers' enthusiasm for the game. But check out the trailer, and let us know what you think.
