Fans of the 'youth music' and swanning about in capes beating up on the homeless will love the Batman: Arkham City soundtrack.
We're as excited as the next man about the upcoming costumed beat-em-up, Batman: Arkham City, but we're not nearly as motivated by the news that its sound track will not only be full of original songs, but also released seperately.
Why?
Well, I think we're too old.
We love the idea of getting a mess of name-bands to write original music, stuff that's inspired by Batman and meant to be listened to in the dark metropolis of Gotham. Really. But the thing is... we could not even begin to tell you what these bands sound like. I am officially not at that age where a) new music generally scares and/or confuses me, and b) the kids can just get off my damn lawn.
However, if you're not in that bracket yet, check out the playlist.
*Bonus Collector’s Edition track 12. A Place to Bury Strangers - In The Shadow
Mystified. The soundtrack will be available on the 5th of October, ahead of an October 19 release for the game itself.
