Stop: bullet time! The Max Payne 3 trailer is here

Trailer: He's been away too long, but damn it's good to see him back. Max Payne 3 re-introduces an old friend...

Max Payne was a groundbreaking game. It gave us bullet time, epic gunfights unlike anything we'd seen before, and a short, sharp single-player story that was almost as much fun to watch someone play through as it was to play. Max Payne 2 delivered more noir deliciousness, however it's been a long time between drinks.

Thankfully, though, Max is back, and in this new Max Payne 3 trailer, he's looking tougher and more hardboiled than ever.

Not to mention more than a little bit like Bruce Willis in Die Hard. Which is never a bad thing.

Cue gravelly narration in three... two... one...
