Trailer: Here's something annoying - a trailer for a trailer. We feel kinda dirty just posting it...
Apparently, in this new Battlefield 3 teaser trailer, there are 'all new game-play clips'. Really? Threy're more like snippets, and even that's being mighty generous.
In fact, this teaser trailer is not a teaser for the game, but for another trailer airing on television this week. And I thought Rockstar's habit of sending out 'we're launching a trailer tomorrow!' press releases was annoying.
And, of course, the final annoying nail is the choice of music. In fact, I think Josh the Video Guy (who encodes all these trailers" says it best:
"I get what DICE & EA were trying to do with the 99 Problems trailer, but no. Just no. I get that the soldiers have a lot of things to think about at once in combat and among those problems their bitches do not reside, but... no.
I don’t like trailers that use a song that has one relevant line and the rest is totally irrelevant and not in the spirit of the content at all... "
