The new Sirus 5.1 headset joins the CM Storm gaming range of peripherals, with supposedly 'futuristic military design'.
Good sound is the key to many good gaming experiences. If you're rocking some serious speakers, or even a high-end pair of cans, you'll likely agree. And if you're not rocking the good sound yet, maybe the new CM Storm Sirus headset will have you covered.
We've just asked for a review samply of these new 5.1 headphones, but so far they look solid on paper.
Each ear enclosure features four distinct speakers for a total of eight, powered by two 40mm sub drivers and six 30mm drivers, each fed by its own audio channels. The included mic also features noise cancellation, so only your swears can be heard over the line, not the noise of the rest of your household.
The big thing that we're keen to play with, though, is the Tactical Mixing Control. CM may be taking the military thing a bit too far, but this is separate in-line controller that lets you mix all eight sound channels. This could be great for anyone who plays lots of different games in addition to listening to music. A similarly Tactical software package lets you tweak even further.
So, stay tuned for a review soon!
