Gallery: If these new shots of epic Battlefield 3 multiplayer maps don't get you excited, you're possibly dead inside...
The PR for Battlefield 3 has recently been focusing rather heavily on the game's co-op and singleplayer modes, so we're very happy to see a bit more love for the core multiplayer action. And man... even though these shots don't show off much action at all (except for the now signature 'acid trip gone wrong' orange blurs), we practically taste the hardfought battles to come.
These screens show off vistas and more intimate shots of most of the maps for the new game. Some will of course be familar to those who played the beta, so we're loving the looks at new maps.
That said (man, I deserve an achievement for starting three paragraphs in a row with 'th'), the Seine Crossing map is going to seriously weird me out. It looks to be set around the area we (my girlfriend and I, not an editorial we) recently stayed in during a brief stay in Paris.
Fighting through that area is going to be... odd. But, also, awesomely cool!
