SF writers on the future of computing

Essential Linkage: Some SFs best and biggest discuss the future of computing. If these guys can't suss it out, no one can!

Ironically, the article I'm about to recommend you read was penned by the man who pretty much single-handed robbed me of my passion for the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and wrote the one novel I have ever thrown into a bin in a fit of nerd rage.

Nonetheless, it's worth giving Kevin J. Anderson's piece on the future of computing a read.

First up, it's not just about him, but about a mess of SF writers, some of whom are personal faves (like Michael Stackpole, whose X-Wing novels I do still re-read), to talk about their views on computing and where it's heading in the future.

It's not a big read, but it's an interesting one - what to you guys think?
