Gallery: Corsair are set to take on the world of gaming hardware, and man, are they going to NAIL it! We've got exclusive shots of the K60 and K90 keyboards.

It would normally behoove me to at least pretend to be objective about a new hardware release until I've actually had a chance to literally play with a new keyboard or mouse. But there is nothing 'normal' about Corsair's upcoming Vengeance line of mice, keyboards and headsets.

We got excited just looking at pictures of them when the line was announced, but since then, both John Gillooly and I have managed to get our hands on them in brief encounters that were over far too fast. More importantly, these weren't even live encounters. I got to play with the K60 and K90 while in Taiwan recently, and while they weren't even plugged in, I walked away with the firm impression that Corsair has utterly nailed what it's set out to do.

Namely, create the best gaming gear it can.

Corsair managed to get some ex-Logitech guys aboard to design this gear, and it really shows. Both keyboards are insanely solid, for a start, and feature some truly unique design elements. And, utilising Cherry Red keys, they feel responsive as all heck.

I'm already more than confident enough to say that the K60 FPS keyboard will be my next board of choice. And based on John's impressions of the mice, the same counts there.

In between excitedly fondling the K60 and typing out 'The quick brown fox...', I even managed to snag some shots of the two keyboards
