In a bizarre flashback to the depths of 2005 and the hell that was the Barrens chat channel, Chuck Norris is now officially linked to World of Warcraft.
As part of the seventh anniversary celebrations, Blizz has engaged the services of the one-time martial arts action film hero to appear in one of their famous celebrity endorsement ads. Chuck joins such luminaries as Mr T and William Shatner - truly, a who's who of people who used to be someone*.
You can watch the ad below - or simply wince and look away, much like John just has - but it's also worth noting that Blizzard is offering up the usual in-game fun, with a Celebration Package, a tasty 'chievo, and juicy XP bonuses.
Now, let the complaining about WoW begin!
*Actually, I can't support that. William Shatner is made of solid awesome.
