Read Skyrim's many books - on the go!

Tired of wanting to read A Short History of Empire, but too busy killing dragons? Now, Dovahkiin. you can, thanks to one dedicated Skyrim fan.

So, over the weekend we played more Skyrim. However, in between beating the snot out of dragons and arguing with minstrels, we... well, it's kinda embarrasing.

I organised my library.

Now, we don't mean we took a break from playing - it was my in-game library. Now, every bookcase in Breezehome is packed with books, there's handy piles left on tables and chairs, and we even have some naughty reading by the bed. For special dovahkiin alone times.

Of coursem it was then mentioned that, if I was really serious, I should alphabetise; I really hate my girlfriend sometimes.

However, the main point here is books, and the insane amount of them littering the world of Skyrim. Despite owning a lot of them (and I'm not even trying to collect everything (I'll leave that to my next playthrough), I've read very few, and cannot escape the feeling that I'm missing out on a mess of cool background, even plot and quests, by not doing so.

Thankfully, there is now an app for that

Well, not really, but there is an ebook, compiled by a fan who noticed that all the books are in fact text files in the game directory. You can download it here for use on pretty much any device you could want (including iPad), and then read up on lusty maids, famous thieves, and disinherited barbarians at your leisure.

Awesomepants.
