Ubisoft has had a Monty Burns-esque change of heart - Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be on PC after all.
We spotted the game on pre-order this week, and now Ubisoft's come out of the closet with the news that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be coming to PC after all.
Despite cancelling the game late last year due to piracy concerns, Ubi's now stated the game's coming out later this year, after the console version's release in May. Here's an announcement from IP Development Director Adrian Lacey on the game's new date, the PC release, and why it was delayed.
Gotta say, I'm kind of excited. The future tech of the game has always appealed, and combined with the one-shot-kill ballistics this has always looked like a deep and thrilling FPS. Here's hoping it's not too much of a port, and that Ubi doesn't screw the pooch again with DRM.
