Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer - maybe we're getting excited now...

Video: The latest trailer for Mass Effect 3 shows off the co-op action. And some guy pretending to be Commander Shepard.

Yeah, like a lot of you, we're feeling a little... nervous about Mass Effect 3. Not because we lack faith, but rather, because I can't think of a game that I am looking forward to this year more than the final part of Mass Effect.

The initial announcement of the inclusion of a co-op multiplayer mode had us worried, but we're starting to warm to the idea of being able to share the ME universe with friends for the first time. The chance to create a wholly new character, a spec-ops soldier fighting against the Reapers, is pretty alluring.

This latest trailer shows off the action you expect to face, and the way you can choose different race and class combos to take the fight to the enemy. It's good, and we're excited and all, but... who's that guy pretending to be Shep?!?
