Video: More tanks, more maps, and an easier way to get started are all part of World of Tanks' next patch.
The team at Wargaming.net are continuing to support and improve its first big military MMO, World of Tanks. Sure, the devs there may be testing World of Airplanes, and working on the upcoming World of Battleships (*swoons*), but there's still time to keep the armoured warfare rolling.
Patch 7.2, in fact, was announced last week, and it's juicy-full of coolness. The addition that will impact most players are two new maps, Live Oaks and Campania (set in North America and Italy, respectively). There's also some changes to the top Amercian tiers, with the T34 and T30 being replaced by the M103 and T110. On top of that, US Tank Destroyers with rotating turrets get their own branch.
Wolverines for the win!
But the change that excites us the most (and that might even get me back into the game) is the addition of 20 new crew skills. There's even a new tutorial to ease new players into the armoured fun.
Sounds pretty neat, and there's even a trailer to check out. Sign up for the free to play game here.
