All new Hotbox case modding comp!

Hotbox is back in an all-new format!

Six years ago, case modding was pure magic.

We remember the day we saw our first case mod. It was like man had channelled the very essence of God into a Dremel and released it onto powder-coated steel. Perspex windows, cold cathodes and rubber. Lots of rubber.

These days, you can pluck cases like this, pre-made, off the shelf of your local PC shop. That doesn't mean case modding isn't magical, just that you have to work harder for it to be so.

As a reflection of this, Atomic's world-renowned Hotbox competition has changed. Instead of picking four boxes for you guys to vote for, we're going to pick just one, outstanding modded case each month and showcase it in the magazine and on the website. The lucky winner will nab a Gigabyte motherboard.
