 There's already a Doom movie. It's called 'Aliens'. Wednesday, 26th October 2005

It doesn’t matter if your PC station is made of dusty old beige bits. As long as the inside bits are go-fast, and you get a reasonable 30fps on CS Dust @ 800x600. It all adds up to a quality gaming experience that pounds out the frames on a 17” fishbowl CRT.

A rig that gets you from A to B with pragmatic efficiency is all the banana you need in today’s gaming fruit punch.

On the other hand, if you’re a bit into yourself and like everything all black and shiny, glowey and cool, then there are about 4 million products you can buy today to give you techwood.

Like the Samsung 193P Plus 19” LCD, or the Flexiglow Illuminated Keyboard. Both are plastic sex to die for. Sure, the downtrodden beige crew will think you’re a bit of a wanker – but really, who gives a toss when you’ve got toys like these to bring you true happiness.

Ben

PS. There’s only a few days left for the best damn comp we’ve ever run. If you haven’t entered the D-Link Drive a V8 Supercar comp, then we’ll just assume you haven’t got the guts to face the V8 challenge.
