The year is officially over! And what a year it was. We had our triumphant 5th birthday issue of Atomic. Putting that issue together was a mighty joy. One simply can’t afford to dick around with something as important as that. The guys put in a stellar effort. Ash compiled every issue ever leading up to the birthday issue, and whacked them on CD for you. The work Bill did on the magnificent cover, too, was stunning.
Mid-year we launched V2.5. The Atomic site got a massive makeover and feature enhancement. We now have content, mighty content, and loads of it. Reviews, features, all sorts of golden Atomic wordage is now a regular thing on the site. Just too good.
Most recently, of course, we wrapped up the year with the enormously successful Atomic Live event. I think it’s a given that we’ll be doing more Live events. The feedback we’ve had from everyone was great. We’ve certainly learnt a lot from the experience we do will be better than the last.
For you, all of us here wish you and your family a sensational Christmas and new year. The holiday break is to be enjoyed to the max, and that can very well include staying in front of your PC for 3 days straight playing Civ IV. That’s living it up Atomic style.
Have a good one, everyone. We’ll be back on deck in the second week of January 2006. Newsletters and regular site content will resume then, in the meantime I’ll see you on the forums!
