This week we started a bold new experiment on the Atomic site. After carefully observing the internet phenomenon known as 'blogging' for several cautious years, Atomic has dived in with a blog of our own. Unlike most things we do at Atomic, we're not expecting to revolutionise the world with this one. But it's fun and the writers can let their hair hang down when writing, so it's nice for everyone. There's a link top right of the home page, or click here to read the tentative, humble beginnings of something new.

Oh, look, just 2 more sleeps til Atomic Live. The activity here is cyclonic. Everyone is pumped and all the weeks of hard work come down top the line. For everyone who is able to come along, we can say with total confidence that you'll have a fantastic day. All of us here are especially excited about meeting Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, as we know many of you are too. There was a forum thread about it last week, and for anyone who still thinks that the Dr Karl we're having is the Dr Karl from Neighbours, we apologize in advance for the inevitable disappointment. We hope that instead, you will find delight in hearing Australia's legendary celebrity scientists add his special warmth and humour to all things tech.

Please come and say hi to me and the rest of the Atomic gang at Live, one of the perks of this job is the close relationship we have with you and Live is the place to chill together and celebrate the wonderful tech and people behind it.

If you can't make it, or are interstate, wish us luck anyway, because there's every chance we'll do Live again in other parts of the country next year, just maybe :}
