By now many of you will be discovering the wonders of Oblivion. Even anti-RPG haters, such as myself, have fallen for its irresistible charms.

This is an RPG unlike any other. Fear not, if you may have relegated RPGs to the back of your gaming mind in the past. This is simply a great game. The feeling of complete escapism is just magical. This is due both to the remarkable game world, which is almost completely convincing, and the absorbing characters and quests.

It’s a bit demanding on the old hardware, but even at 1024 res it still looks a treat.

Our review is up now, and needless to say we’re gushing.

Together with the launch of the Xbox 360 this week, the gamers of Australia should rejoice the magic week that was, and now get stuck into the fun!
