"Really? You got a new laptop?" Thursday, 13th April 2006

Sure it’s RPG week. Or more like Oblivion month, really. But let’s not forget our good friend the RTS. On the Atomic site this week we’re featuring an interview with gaming legend (no, really, legend) Christopher Taylor.

Besides being the creator of Total Annihilation, which we all have fond memories of here at Atomic HQ, Chris is behind Strategic Commander, the RTS that’s got us just a bit excited.

Check out the online-only screenshots. Sure, it’s early days, but just imagine an interface and some gameplay, and whacko – RTS resurgence anyone?

With some good fortuhne we'll be playing Supreme Commander online using good old fashioned IPv4. And maybe into the future internet (wooooo), which Ashton's explained most Ashtonlike in his cracker feature on the topic.
