You know how it is when you aren’t expecting anything particularly cool to happen, and out of the blue you get a happy surprise?

It was like that this week – and today especially – at Atomic. Games are in the middle of the dry period, but through this nice week we’ve been clued in about some cool new games. Red Steel is previewed on the site for Wii, while for PC we’ve done an interview with the developers behind Caesar IV, the city builder that has the goods, we reckon. Unfortunately CivCity: Rome is a whack of suckage. We wanted to like it, but that was unpossible. Read the review to see why.

In happier news, 5 minutes ago our review code for Test Drive Unlimited and Defcon arrived. These two we’ve been looking forward to bigtime, so count on more news from us on the Atomic site soon!

Have fun.

Ben
