OMG only 9 sleeps til Live! Friday, 12th October 2007

Last Friday night we held the very first professional overclocking tournament in Australia, and it went off. With Gigabyte’s support, we’d been running qualifying rounds for the month leading up to it, and at the Grand Final last week four of the hottest overclockers in the world faced off for sumptuous Gigabyte prizes.

Kayl, Youngpro, Dino and of course the mighty Josh Collins were all running near 5GHz, and with enough dry ice to spare for beer cooling and funny inhalation tricks (not healthy Kayl!).

All the lucky Atomicans that won our comp to be there had a ball. You can watch the fun on the video we’ve put together.

The great news is that it’s all set for a triumphant redux next Saturday at Atomic Live! The boys will be laying it on, with a goal to break world records on the day.

Of course, there are many other awesome reasons to be at Live, like free breakfast for the first 200 there. We’re all incredibly excited, now that it’s just a week away.

Atomicans are a great family, and this is the mother of all catchups.

See you at the biggest and best games and tech show ever!

Ben
