Editor's Note
The big news of the week is that AMD's Phenom II is going to hit shelves in a week or so, and boy are we excited. We have one in the labs, but cannot talk about it yet (damned Non Disclosure Agreements!); we can say, however, that in all of our chats with AMD reps about the new chip, they've been quietly confident it's a goer.
So colour us excited at the thought of an AMD renaissance!
We also got our geek on at a 20 minute preview of next year's Star Trek movie, and spent some time at the Powerhouse Museum's new Star Wars exhibit. We walked out of both with a big old nerdy smile on our face, too!
And, though it's only a short piece, we're still endlessly amused by the discovery of zombies in GTA's Liberty City. What is it they say about small minds?
Finally, don't forget to check out our forums. In case you missed it, you really should check out the Post of the Month discussion and award here, as it's chock full of coolness. You can find just about anything in our forums, from serious tech talk to opinions on net censorship, but there have been particularly hot discussions this past little while on zombie shooter Left 4 Dead and GTA IV for PC.
And that's it! See you same Atomic time, same Atomic channel next week :)
