Somebody call the Centre for Disease Control. I have given Editor Dave the gift of my horrible sickness, which is a problem, and now Josh isn't feeling too crash-hot.

But that's less of a problem if you ask me: it's an impending viral time bomb of retribution for his weekend visit to Melbourne and the Ferrari pits -- when all I got to do all weekend was lament the passing of my RAID (personally depressing opinion piece with understandably smaller than usual amounts of humour below). At least he's been kind enough to write about it so we can all experience the F1 pits through his words.

Alex Bradner bought a USB key off Ebay, and when he and I benchmarked it we found out that he'd been ripped off. His cautionary tale, investigative results and [Today Tonight voice over]consumer advice[/Today Tonight voice over] is below.

Starving designers (which means all designers): we know of a competition that could win you USD$5,000! If you win, you can exchange that for food or, more likely, "creativity enhancers"! Just design (what doesn't have to be, but will inevitably turn out to be) a strangely hot cyborg babe for Kingston Memory and you could win delicious money!

May this week leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy.

-DAVE.
