Editor's Note

Welcome to this week's Atomic newsletter, fresh off the digital presses and still smelling pixel-fresh!

In these harsh economic times (man, I want to Trademark that phrase - I'd make a mint!), good news is hard to find - especially if you're a tech enthusiast. But we've got some good news - both Intel and AMD are dropping chip prices!

Intel is dropping prices across its entire processor range, while AMD is being a little more circumspect, and offering a slight downward adjustment on the new Phenom II CPUs.

Our other big story has been a photo collection of Silverstone's gorgeous new Raven PC case. It's got sexy stealth bomber looks combined with a range of handy and quite unique features. If you suddenly see the lads at Atomic HQ sporting this as their next case upgrade, don't be surprised!

Finally, for all you science nerds (I know who you are, Poindexter!), we've got a write up on a new super-battery technology that could see all your battery-slaved devices able to charge up in the blink of an eye!

And remember, our Write Your Own Review comp is still on. There's great prizes to be won, and all you need to do to get free stuff (Free!) is to tell us what you think of your favourite (or, most HATED) piece of kit.

Get writing!

- David Hollingworth, Editor
