Editor's Note

On the eve of finishing issue 104 of Atomic, we pause to bring you this latest, most savory taste of Atomic goodness.

Our big stories this month are a solid mix of win. We kick off with an angry little piece on Ubisoft's recent announcement that it's looking into new ways to make its game's more piracy-proof - we don't think this is going to end well at all. Anyone remember the Spore backlash?

On the positive gaming front, we have good news and a new trailer for Borderlands, Gearbox's soon to be released RPG/FPS hybrid. And, incidentally, we've got a big old chat with Gearbox's Randy Pitchford in the next issue, so keep an eye out for it in a couple of weeks.

We've also been dazzled by how just how cool the new look Tr0n film is coming along. News and footage out of ComicCon still has us picking our jaws up off the floor!

Finally, we get hip-deep in Science! (you have to yell it for proper impact) with our look at how the Folding@Home project works, and what it can do for medicine and computing.

Plus, a whole mess more good news, reviews and game trailers.

See you next week!

- David Hollingworth, Editor
