Editor's Note

It's a great day - the day Atomic goes on sale in newsagents around the country. And it's a pretty neat issue if we do say so ourselves... but this is the site newsletter, so let's talk site stuff!

Top of our list of neat stuff this week is Intel's possibly dodgy practices involving GPU benching. Of course, the claim is made by AMD, so you be the judge of what's actually going on.

Speaking of testing, one crazy enthusiast has totally slaughtered pretty much every 3DMark record. Ever. To see how - and it's impressive! - read the story below.

And don't forget to check out a neat little SSD from OCZ, and some intriguing news regarding the not even in production yet Star Trek sequel.

Plus much more besides.

And hey, we've got another great LAN night coming at Atomic HQ tomorrow night - if you're invited, can't wait to see you, but if you missed out, keep an eye on the site for a couple more really big events we're about to put together for year's end...

In the meantime... ciao!

- David Hollingworth, Editor
