We mean it, even though they’re different on paper, there is no discernable difference between these two screens except how they look. This is great if you’re strapped for cash (or just don’t care about aesthetics) because it means that for $50 less, you can have the same exceptional quality as the 2252, but without all the extra bling.

Its power light is quite bright, but like its bigger brother can be turned off.

I understand that it is not very important but i just want to point out that,as far as i know the picture used for this review is actually the LG W2242TQ.

Other than that i agree with everything else in the review. I purchased one of the LG W2242T's for the family computer and it looks great.
