A unique PC case design coupled with some old (not-so) favourites...
We have a kind of love-hate relationship here with Cooler Master. On the one hand, for instance, there's the Cosmos, a classic case we love. On the other hand, there's, well, also the Cosmos. Which, in its first incarnation, tended to snap like a twig if you picked it up wrong.
But can we stay mad? Oh, hells, no!
Now, Cooler Master has sent us the first case in it's new Storm Tactics line up - the alarmingly named Sniper. Is it clean headshot, or a clean miss?
Well, once again, it's a bit of a love-hate thing. There's a lot to like, but there's almost as much we just want to rip out of the thing. One thing we will say is that the design is at least sharp and visually unique, and it's really grown on us while we've been looking it over.
Anyway, click into the gallery for some more of our thoughts on this new case!

It looks like a fuglier version of the antec 900. will be nice to see how good it is to build in.

Well it's easy to notice the way it's similar to the CM690... as well as other CM cases on the inside. I like it's unique look... but it looks a little tacky in places. I also can't believe that you guys hate the tool less expansion card securing system! I love it. It is so much better then Thermaltakes.
Still this case is a good effort, and I look forward to seeing more of CoolerMasters new designs.

I'm not a fan (mind the pun) of this one. I hate the feet that jut out from underneath. The mesh on the side looks cheap. About the only thing I like is the button arrangement on the top. I'll stick with the HAF 932.

Oh I forgot to mention I hate that it's called "Sniper", it just sounds lame.

Sceptre: I actually own a Coolermaster case, and I've removed the expansion card system. I really, really don't like it. But that's reviewing for you - we just never feel it does a good enough job, but it obviously works great for you!
Trucka: Those feet can be replaced, and they also fold in and out.
