A 1.2KG, 200W-capable behemoth of a heatsink, crushing lesser mortals with its CPU cooling power!

When you first lay eyes on the Coolermaster V10 heatsink, your mind will boggle at the sheer size.

With a nickel-coated copper base, three separate aluminium-finned heatsinks joined together by ten heatpipes, and even a Thermo-Electric Cooler, this is a seriously powerful beastie.

Two 12cm PWM fans (repleted with red LEDs) provide the airflow to move the heat away, and all of these components add up to a staggering 1200g weight.

Compatibility is for LGA1366, LGA775, and AM2/940/939/754, and includes a little sachet of thermal paste.

Check the gallery for pics and descriptions of the cooler, and keep your eyes peeled for this heatsink and performance in an upcoming issue of Atomic!

At first I thought it was a heatsink, then I thought it was a radiator, when I read the text I discovered it's a heatsink with a Thermo-Electric Cooler. So, does this mean that we're finally bringing out fridge heatsinks? xD

Use the heat output from the CPU, convert that into electric energy, and you have yourself a fridge heatsink capable of running at 10°c and therefore keeping your CPU below 30° under load - at any clock speed =D

FB, while Thermoelectricity is a handy tool to use, you can't get that much power out of it while staying in the realm of what we widely accept as 'physics' :P

That said however, it uses 70 Watts of power for the heatsink alone. Add to that the 130W TDP of Nehalem (and even more so when overclocked) and you can see how easily they got their 200W rating.
