Can the Antec 902 case bring anything new to this popular design?

It seems that Antec have been rather busy, churning out this now iconically-shaped case in many different sizes and configurations, including this recently-updated model.

When we looked at the original Nine Hundred, we weren't too impressed with some of the features, but fingers crossed that they've been fixed in this one.

There are a few interesting things whacked in here, and certainly enough to give it a little love and attention.

The case is out now, so check out our gallery for pics and descriptions of this blackened steel case, and make sure you pick up Issue 98 for a full review and score.

I prefer the look of the old 900 (coz i have one!) The tray on top of it is very handy for storing chupa-chups. I like the fan control on this one tho, you don't have to open the case everytime you want to change fan speeds.

They just made the 902 so that people would know that Antec made the original design... not Thermaltake.

"dust management is still an issue."

I don't think that it is. I just opened our first batch of 900 2's, and they all have removable dust filters for front/side, much like my 1200. Pull them out, wash under the tap, leave to dry on the sink. Bam.

Externally the outside coat is rougher/like a powder coat rather tha a smoother finish like on the 900/1200 original series. Overall - Sexy.
