We take a look at the 3D glasses that claim to rock your world.

3D has been the holy grail of the computing world for as long as we can remember, and has been touted as the next evolutionary step in our entertainment industry.

NVIDIA, being the clever cats they are, have created glasses that provide "Wireless Stereoscopic 3D for your PC Games", which is also intended to work with video.

They work via an infrared signal sent by the transmitter box (we're going to call it the pyramid for reasons we'll explain in the gallery), which tell the shutters in the glasses when to open and close.

Syncing with the pyramid's signal, this shuttering happens extremely fast and should allow only the correct images to reach specific eyes, each image rendered from a slightly changed perspective to emulate the depth that is missing.

The glasses are wireless, and are rechargeable. You'll need a NVIDIA 8800GT or higher to run this tech.

Check out the gallery for what this kit looks like, and grab the magazine to read whether or not we think this is actually worth getting.

You need a 120Hz monitor, which I believe Samsung and Viewsonic gave.

120Hz Monitor is ridiculously rare, and most likely to be expensive.

I would buy it if I had the money, they do have a nice range of games that are compatible.

I got a LCD monitor Acer 26inch HDMI and Nvidia GeForce 8800 video card. Does it work for 3D glasses?

And I'm interest to buy NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Kit.
Where can I buy one?

I also found that the 3d Vision discover is pretty cool to play with if you don't feel like forking out $300 for the glasses and another $400-600 for a 120hz display.
just need an 8 series geforce card, and some normal red/blue anaglyph 3d glasses. although the eyes do start to hurt a bit after about 45mins of play. but yeah very good cheapskate alternative. and some games are better than others...
