Zalman's most massive aluminium case evar.

Atomic hasn't had a look at many Zalman cases before (in fact the only one online is the No Noise 500AF case that probably couldn't cope with today's hottest tech), but the GS1000 case might just be Zalman's silver bullet in disguise.

It's massive enough to fit the longest graphics cards in it, it's silver enough to give you a powerful headache if you're somewhere really bright, and above all it looks the part - there's no getting this confused with a crappy budget case.

The GS1000 is aluminium, brushed outside and rolled inside. Is it as good as a Lian Li case though?

Well, you're gonna have to look at the gallery to find out, and pick up an upcoming Atomic to see what we think of it.

Until then, we're going to go back to drooling over the brushed sidepanels....mmmm, aluminium.

Looks nice and neat. The air inlets on the bottom of cases always worry me - I know what the floor looks like in my study, and I can imagine all sorts of stuff getting sucked up - so the raised feet seem like a good idea. I would definitely be buying this in black though.

The bottom of that case is damn sexy. Now if there was a case with the front like that...

Certainly looks good and Id have to say the best one Ive seen so far from the cases that have been reviewed.

I like it, the bottom would look hot on a polished floor with a red or blue LED down lit showing the pattern onto the floor.

I wonder just how think the doors are, can't wait for the full review.

Hot looking case. Not sure about it only having two exhaust fans though. While being aluminium will help, the case might end up doing more than just looking hot.

This case looks the goods, very stylish indeed, but I can't help wondering how scratch resistant the silver/plastic panels are as I noticed a few nicks here and there.I like the front hot swap access, but the fact that there isnt any fan cooling possible for the drives is a big no-no. Airflow up through the bottom of the case wiyhout an easily removable filter is just plain stupid in my view, been there done that, just a vacuum cleaner for fluff and dirt. Justin, are you sure about this being an all Al case with just a few plastic bits? The main structoral box appears to be made of zinc steel with brushed aluminium and silver painted panels adorning the exterior. All in all its a good effort from Zalman if it could incorportate some fans in front of those hard drives, it would be a winner.

TeZ, yes, I forgot to mention that the superstructure is indeed steel, with aluminium panelling. I'll change it at work though! All aluminium would most likely drive the cost up.

Excellent looking case, agree with TeZ on the bottom air intake, really needs a removable filter but otherwise this case looks phenomenal

Id like to see one where all the plastic bits were black, but leave the brushed aluminium panels as is. Be a nice contrast I think.
