Comes with an onboard...overclocking dial?
We had a look at ASUS' AM3 board yesterday, so when the MSI 790FX-GD70 came into the Labs we whipped out the camera to give you a taste of the board proper.
It's based on the 790FX chipset, and has a very interesting layout - the northbridge has been aligned with the power regulation to give one continuous line for the heatsink.
That huge block of aluminium is what we mean, and it's still connected to the southbridge via a heatpipe. The other usual features of the board are there too, with room for Quadfire and a decent amount of expansion options.
Most cool of all is the little dial at the bottom edge of the board, that allows overclocking of the mobo without needing to be in the BIOS.
Jump into the photo gallery to see what we mean (though don't jump on us, because that would be mean). Ahem.
