We take a look at Coolermaster's new Scout case that has some interesting features.

Cooler Master have produced some stunning cases over the years, and they've also made the budget ones too - the Scout is neither.

Instead it's aimed as a halfway point between those 'premium' gaming cases (such as their ATCS 840, or the very close cousin the Sniper), giving some nice features but skimping on a few key points.

Most noticeable is the construction materials; namely steel and a lot of plastic. There aren't many dust filters used, and no vibration dampening anywhere to be found - but airflow is great, and there are some very smart design choices here too.

Pricewise it's not bad either, coming in at about AU$165 which is a little less than half that of the ATCS 840, and about eighty dollars less than the Sniper.

Is it good enough to be your next case? Jump into the gallery to have a look and decide, but if you're still unsure then make sure you grab a copy of Atomic in the future to see what we think of it!

This actually looks like quite a nice case, IF you are prepared to give it some TLC before you start using it (ie adding your own filters). Maybe the basis for a mod ??

I got one of these cases a few weeks ago, Very Very happy with it, not only does it look exceptional once everything's in it, but it's practically silent compared to my old case.
looks great with some UV reactive cable management and a good Cathode kit!

A good looking case that fits into any gamers life who lans a bit with the trusty handles to carry your kit around. Inserting an optical drive was no problems with a cool lock'n'load system like a bolt action rifle.

Cons:
larger(long in size) gfx cards are a tight fit.
some psu's may have shorter cabling that could pose a problem to the cpu socket.

Pro:
All black in and out.
on/off led button.
bottom psu install.
handles.
neat/hidden cable management.
fans are quiet.
And it looks cool :-)
